Attendance Report – A summary of the activity
This activity enables you to generate a report and view the details of the employee’s attendance
Inputs for the report: For generating the Attendance report, you must select the reporting unit and specify the date from which the employee attendance is to be generated.
You can specify either an employee code or a range of employee code for which you want the attendance report to be generated. You can also specify the department of the employee(s) for whom the attendance report is to be generated. If you specify the department code and leave employee code or the range of employee codes blank, the system will generate an attendance report for all employee of the specified department.
If you specify only the starting date for the report and leave the ending date blank, the system will generate an attendance report for records up till the current system date.
Display of the report
You can specify display format of the date for the attendance report. For example you can select the display format of the date as DD-MM-YYYY format, which is the date, month, year format or MM-DD-YYYY format which is the month, date and year format. You can also specify the display format for the employee name. For example you can specify the employee name to be displayed in the first, middle and last name format or last first and middle name format.
You can also specify the order in which the records in the report will be displayed. For example you can specify that the records should be first ordered by department, then by employee name and then by employee code.
Output of the report:
For the Attendance Report you can view the following:
Date and the Day of the Week for which the employee’s attendance is recorded.
The time at which the employee reported for work, meal interval which includes the time at which the interval began and the time at which the interval ended, the time at which the employee left work.
The total hours worked by the employee for each day and for the week.
Details of the employee’s overtime, which includes the time at which employee’s overtime began, the time at which the overtime ended and the toal hour worked.
Details of the employee’s work hours on a Sunday work, which includes the time at which work began, the time at which the work ended on the Sunday and the total hours worked on the Sunday.
Details of the employee’s work hours on a Public Holiday, which includes the time at which work began, the time at which the work ended on the Public Holiday and the total hours worked on the Public Holiday.
